What on-the-day coordination really covers
It starts weeks before the day. Here's what a coordinator does, and why it makes the day itself feel effortless.
On-the-day coordination is one of our most-asked-about services, and one of the most misunderstood. A coordinator who meets you on the morning of your wedding can only react. One who starts six weeks earlier can prevent.
The handover
Around six weeks out, we sit down with you and go through everything: contracts, supplier contacts, your timings, your layout, the things you've imagined but not written down. From that point, we become the main contact for your suppliers.
Confirmations and the timeline
- We contact every supplier to confirm arrival times, access and requirements
- We build a detailed timeline and floor plan, and share it with everyone involved
- We walk the venue to agree practicalities such as deliveries, power and wet-weather plans
On the day
We arrive with the suppliers, manage set-up, cue the ceremony and speeches, keep the meal on time and handle the questions that would otherwise come to you or your family. At the end of the night, we make sure everything that needs to go home does.
The best compliment we get is when guests don't notice we were there.
