The family wanted to surprise their parents with a supper that echoed the couple's first date. We tracked down the menu, adapted it with the chef and served it at one long table in a panelled dining room.
Winter greenery, deep red berries and plenty of candles kept the room warm. The surprise was managed down to which door the couple would walk through.
